In 2017 the festival presented four very special intimate concerts over the early May bank holiday weekend at St Mary’s church Rye, East Sussex.
On Thursday 25 May, the incredible violinist Nigel Kennedy performed ‘Bach Meets My World’ an evening of Nigel’s favourite, and most celebrated, Bach compositions, combined with music from his new album My World.
On Friday 26 May, the Grammy - nominated American jazz singer Stacey Kent performed a wonderful concert which included songs from her current album, tenderly and a selection of Stacey’s personal favourite songs.
To close the concert series, the festival presented the acclaimed and respected female jazz singers, Sarah Jane Morris, and Liane Carroll with Italian guitarist Antonio Forcione on Saturday 27 May.
